Background

Well-being is a key aspect of modern life, influenced not only by individual choices but also by the social and environmental contexts we live in.

This project began with a simple question:How can fashion enhance people’s well-being?

Through background research, we expanded the project to explore how wardrobe management, sustainable outfit choices, and social sharing can strengthen social connection, promote sustainability, and ultimately enrich everyday well-being.

Project Summary

Everyday Closet helps users organise their wardrobe, discover outfit ideas, and plan looks around their daily life. By blending personalisation, weather insights, and social sharing, the app encourages smarter, more sustainable fashion habits.

I conducted user interviews with six females aged 18–25 to gain insights into their experiences. All participants are socially active—whether working, studying, or attending social events—and have an interest in sustainable fashion.

User Testing

Prototype Guide VIdeo

Once the visual design was complete, I tested both prototypes with five users to o gather feedback on whether the app functions as intended and provides clear navigation through various tasks.

The user testing involved Pre- and post-interviews and Moderated user testing. Then I implemented the user feedback, resulting in the further design enhancements.
